Have you been banned in BF3 or BC2?

You need to create a new Origin Account and Email when you purchase or assoicate a new game. They can and will Global Ban you by cross referencing you. It has nothing to do with hacks at this point. You may have used a Hack in BC2, found god, and decided never to hack again...

AND then one day playing bf3 after a month or so....BAM! Karma found you.

So please be wise, and use a new email address, and new Origin Account.... and save me the time and effort on to explain why you were banned.

It looks something like this: PunkBuster permanent ban issued on this Game Server for player 'BLAHBLAH' ... GLOBAL PunkBuster GUID BAN 8f341db7

There is probably no way to fix this after the fact is there?? When I bough the game I though I was using my old BF2142 account which never had a ban on it. Turns out that account also had the 3 BF2 add-ons, the 2142 add-on and the BC2 game. I'm not really sure how these all got associated to this account and I'm pretty sure that BC2 account did have a ban on it.

They can only associate BC2 and BF3 at this time...Maybe if you get origin to change your email you signed up with.

Just to clarify yes EA can ban your entire EA/Origin account and all the games associated with it. OR you can also have a global PB/Evenbalance ban but still play BF3 and other games in the account.

When the BF3 DLC came out I got the global ban but today I can still play unranked as well as the Campaign..

I have two BF3 games, one for rage and one for normal play. Do they ban and check IP-address also (even PB BAN??)?

I assume they wouldnt just ban by IP addresses since they can and often are used or shared.. say you had a family of 5, 2 parents and 3 older teens.. I would think it highly unlikely that if one person gets banned everyone in the family gets banned too.
