My son came to me the other day and said he wants to learn how to start programming hacks for games. I'm just trying to get an idea what would be a good starting point for him?? He is 15yrs old and taking advanced math in high school so I really think this is something he could tackle.

I took about 8 different programming languages in college, 14 years ago. I don't believe anything I learned would help him with programming hacks so I'm looking to you guys for some help.

    Thanks!

He needs to learn the basics of C++ first, there are some online tutorials and books he can start on.
There are also some c++ tutorials posted on that gamedeception site i showed you and uc-forum

The Good Hacks are dll based, and are injected into the running process. So C++ is def needed for that.

There are lots of tutorials, and documents at http://www.unknowncheats.me/forum/

Thanks guys!! I was reading that Python is also an excellent starting point for learning how to program. Any thoughts on that??

No, if he wants a career, he should focus in either Java or C++

Python will come easy once he learns the basics of programming.
