This thread is exactly what the title says... Where did your gaming name come from?? With me the name luckeydogg came from my last name being "Luckey" &it that old dog food commercial with the dog saying he wad a lucky dog. I spell it the way I do because of my last name &it also the first time I made a gaming name was back when MSN had the Gaming Zone & luckeydogg was taken so I added another g... I've had this name for about 12-13 years...

I took my name from the game Strife that I used to play back in 1996. It was a great game and differed from the other 3D shooter games that were around at the time.

I played Diablo 2 and i was creating an new account and all good names where already taken. I played Star Wars the Old repuplic 1 and there was a object called Starforce. So i took Starforce and but was already taken... i just added a _54 and i used it from then for many accounts and Starforce as my main nick. Later i shortened my name to Starf in Steam and for a CS:S. Later i got called Starfy from my CS:S clan and some other friends on CS:S servers. And this is now my nickname. I extend my name on some sites because Starfy is often taken on many sites (starfyre too).

Many moons ago, when the spamalopes roamed the Great Plains in vast herds, and Sierra's The Realm was the only game upon the interwebs, there was a monster called the Thrack. I came upon him in the Moors and hence my name: Thrackmoor
